Internship: Ornamentation in the learned vocal music and oral tradition: between heritage and freedom led by Pascal Caumont and Jean-Louis Comoretto in partnership with ARPA.
This internship, at the crossroads of the scholarly and popular, so-called directories which have links in the ornamental techniques, focus around listenings, readings, and especially musical practices. The work will focus on ornamentation, the meaning of the sentence, the energy of the sound in monodic and polyphonic singing traditional and learned.
Internship at destination for professionals and fans of good level. Internship: Ornamentation in Baroque and traditional music: meeting mirrored by Odile Edward and Xavier Vidal EC stage is designed as a dialogue of the musical stories of aesthetics, techniques of game. Will allow musicians of oral tradition, for which the principles of variation and ornamentation are not always conscious and explicit because they are bodies with the game, further formalize the musical discourse.
